Firemen work round the clock to contain blaze in two hotspots

MIRI: The Fire and Rescue Department is worried that the wildfires raging in Kuala Baram district near here may enter into peat-soil territories.

If this happens, the department fears that the wildfires will burn underground, which will make dousing them from the surface “very difficult”.
