ST Xavier’s Institution (SXI) in Penang has given out RM96,000 of the RM108,000 it raised from its annual charity drive this year to 26 charitable organisations in the state.
Principal Loh Kea Yu said the remaining RM12,000 would be disbursed to needy students from the school for their school fees, transportation allowances, exercise books and uniforms.
