JOHOR BARU: Local councils must effectively plan and manage their urban services to cater to the people during rapid growth currently experienced by the nation, said Deputy Urban Wellbeing, Housing and Local Government Minister Datuk Halimah Mohd Sadique.
Policies and frameworks drawn up, she said, must address future imbalances of land use, physical infrastructure, facilities and social issues of urbanisation.
