Senior citizens want traffic lights installed at zebra crossing

MALACCA: Over 50 senior citizens in Ujong Pasir here have appealed to Malacca Historic City Council (MBMB) publicity officer Tan Jeok Kwang to install traffic lights at the zebra crossing fronting a health clinic.

The appeal came after students and several pedestrians were seriously injured over a five-year period due to the inconsiderate motorists ignoring traffic law that required them to stop upon seeing pedestrians using the zebra crossing.
