IT TOOK a while for reality to sink in when Usha Rani, 42, and her son Deshshiv Darshaan, 10, were announced as the winners of the Fuleco friend Search contest to accompany FIFA World Cup mascot ‘Fuleco’ on to the pitch during a semifinal match in Brazil.
The mother of four beat more than 100 parents of children aged 8 to 12 years old in a bid to win her son the experience of a lifetime, thanks to Naza KIA’s position as an official partner of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
