More electronic eyes needed in housing estates

A CALL for more closed-circuit television cameras (CCTVs) to be installed in housing areas to prevent burglaries was made during a Penang Municipal Council meeting with assemblymen at the Town Hall in the Esplanade.

Hong Kian Beng, representing Air Putih assemblyman Lim Guan Eng, called for the installation of such CCTVs in Taman Lumba Kuda, Jalan La Salle and Reservoir Garden.
