Sarawak community leaders advised to learn English language


KUCHING: Community leaders in Sarawak must be able to speak English and be computer literate as part of their job scope, said Sarawak legislative assembly deputy speaker Datuk Roland Sagah.

He said the reason for the government to provide 1Malaysia laptops to every community leaders was to enable them to do their work effectively, including planning development projects in their respective villages and for correpondence.
