THIRTY Penang schools have been selected to take part in the three-month Plastics Recyclables Collection Competition 2014.

State Welfare, Caring Community and Environment Committee chairman Phee Boon Poh said the competition would enable students to learn about plastics, plastic waste and the proper segregation of plastic waste and the coding system.
