Spiritual cleansing: MCA secretary-general Datuk Seri Ong Ka Chuan pouring scented floral water over an image of young Prince Siddhartha during a Wesak Day celebration at SJKC Yuh Hua in Ipoh on Sunday. The act of bathing the statue signifies the cleansing of one¿s impurities and defilements. Earlier, Ong had joined about 100 people in prayers to celebrate the occasion, which was organised by the Buddhist Light International Association.
