KUCHING: Far-flung longhouses not connected to the state grid should be provided with solar panels as an interim measure, says Fong Pau Teck (Independent-Pujut).
“The simplest solar panel and battery, costing no more than RM700, can power a couple lights and a fan,” Fong told reporters here yesterday, continuing parts of his debate omitted a day earlier due to time constraints in the August House.
