THE Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) has received 23 applications as of April 30 from houseowners to have LED lights fitted to their back lanes.
Petaling Jaya mayor Datin Paduka Alinah Ahmad said last year, there were 56 applications. She hopes more residents will take advantage of the free installation of LED lights to deter crime.
