Unreasonable for traders to buy new scales when old ones still in good condition


SIBU: Business operators in Sarikei are unhappy with the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry for asking them to buy new weighing scales even though their existing ones are still in good working condition.

Weighing machine dealer Andrew Wong told The Star yesterday that those affected by the directive were in a dilemma.
