THE state government will look into suggestions to ask the Federal Government and Petronas for an increase of the oil and gas royalty or bigger contributions to the state’s development.
Assistant Industrial Development Minister Datuk Julaihi Narawi said any negotiation on reviewing the Petroleum Development Act and increasing the royalty could be carried out between the state and Federal governments in the spirit of Barisan Nasional.
