AN ILLEGAL quarry about 2km from the Selayang magistrates court was raided recently after the operators were believed to have used explosives there two weeks ago.
The blasts on the 30ha plot of land rocked the nearby Bandar Baru Selayang neigbourhood, the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) headquarters, the Gombak district office, the Public Works Department and the court house.
