Ruler urges Pahang to look at other ways to source for income

KUANTAN: The Pahang government has to look for new sources of revenue as traditional incomes are no longer enough to accommodate the rising costs, said Pahang ruler Sultan Ahmad Shah.

In his speech at the opening of the state assembly sitting, the ruler said income from traditional sources such as land, forestry and water were not enough to support the rising expenditures each year.
