A TOTAL of 32 charitable organisations received RM18,500 from the Malaysian Buddhist Association (MBA) in conjunction with this year’s Penang Wesak Day celebration.

Penang Wesak Day Celebration Committee chairman Datuk Dr Loh Hock Hun said the committee members visited the orphanages and old folk’s homes to pass them red packets as part of their Wesak Day activities.
