Joint effort to complete Chinese version of religious books could take three years


ABOUT 50,000 Al-Quran books are currently in the process of being translated into Chinese.

Muhammadiah Mosque committee deputy chairman Datuk Dr Fadzli Cheah Abdullah said that the project, titled The Al-Quran with Chinese Translation, is a joint effort between Islamic non-governmental organisation Restu Foundation and the Malaysian Chinese Muslim Association (Macma).
