Student dies after group loses way while trekking Bako National Park

KUCHING: A field trip to Bako National Park near here turned tragic for a group of graduates when they got lost and one of their members died.

The Sunday incident unfolded when one of 12 alumni members of Kolej Tengku Abdul Rahman (TAR) Kuala Lumpur surnamed Sim contacted his father, saying that they had lost their way in the Bukit Timah area of the park.
