The Student Affairs Department of Unitar International University, with collaboration from University Malaya Medical Centre (PPUM), held a blood donation campaign recently at the university’s main campus in Kelana Jaya.
It was the second blood donation campaign to be held in Unitar. Almost 100 staff members and students volunteered for the noble cause.
“We are more than happy to be working together with relevant organisations to support noble causes such as this blood donation campaign,” said Unitar International University Corporate Communications Office head Nor Diyana Shamsul Kamar.
“We look forward to working together with other organisations and being involved in other corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities that can help support society, underprivileged children and the environment,” added Nor Diyana Shamsul Kamar.
Unitar International University was established in 1997, and represents one of the first private higher educational institutions in the country with currently four faculties namely Faculty of Business and Information Technology, Faculty of Education and Social Sciences, Faculty of Early Childhood Studies, Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Management and two schools; School of Foundation and General Studies and Asia Graduate School of Business.
