MORE than 200 Lembah Permai residents in Tanjung Bungah, Penang, have petitioned for the removal of a 4G-transmission tower erected at a school under the national 1BestariNet project.
Penang EMF (electromagnetic field) Radiation Protection Association secretary Ong Bee Lay claimed that the tower, constructed on the grounds of the Federation School for the Deaf in Jalan Lembah Permai, emitted harmful radiation.
