A HUNDRED scouts from Hin Hua High School led by Soh Shao Qi, along with six volunteers from Great Heart Charity Association, visited three separate centres, including an old folk’s home (Pusat Jagaan Rumah Orang Tua Chik Sin Thong), a home for the disabled (Beautiful Gate Foundation for the Disabled Klang) and a home for underprivileged children (Destiny Starting Point 2), in one day to perform charitable acts.
For Pusat Jagaan Rumah Orang Tua Chik Sin Thong, the scouts and Great Heart volunteers, Yuen Juin Hoe and Chang Phay Kee, spent time chatting with the old folks at the centre and got to know more about them. The old folks were also entertained with group singing performances.
