KUCHING: Illegal motorcycle racing, fuelled by elements of gambling, is scorching Jalan Kampung Semadang-Bau in Puncak Borneo near here, in apparent defiance of the authorities.
The races, usually held at night until about 4am during weekends, threaten public safety and have resulted in numerous accidents.
