JOHOR BARU: A family of 10 has been living in a tiny dilapidated wooden shack, an equivalent of two single mattresses, all these years despite being offered alternative housing by the government.

Labourer Anuar Hassan, 38, and his wife Siti Hashimah Sayyub, 32, together with their eight children aged between two months and 11 years old have been living in the shack for the past 11 years.
