Family of 10 living in a tiny dilapidated wooden shack for 11 years

Labourer Anwar Hassan,38 and his wife Siti Hashimah Sayyub, 32, sitting inside of their home in Taman Mutiara Rini with four of their children. Two are fast asleep on a matress laid out on the floor.

JOHOR BARU: A family of 10 has been living in a tiny dilapidated wooden shack, an equivalent of two single mattresses, all these years despite being offered alternative housing by the government.

Labourer Anuar Hassan, 38, and his wife Siti Hashimah Sayyub, 32, together with their eight children aged between two months and 11 years old have been living in the shack for the past 11 years.
