THE Seberang Prai Municipal Council expects an increase of RM1.73mil in its Tenaga Nasional Berhad utility bills for this year following the hike in electricity tariffs from Jan 1.
Council president Maimunah Mohd Sharif said they estimated the amount to be around RM12mil compared to last year’s RM10,558,321.65.
