Minimal light in dark hour


In conjunction with Earth Hour tomorrow, here is a list of interesting events taking place in the Klang Valley to spread awareness of the increased effects of global warming.

MUSIC PERFORMANCES

There will be a special hour-long vocal and dance performance at the Sungei Wang Plaza Concourse Stage from 8.30pm to 9.30pm tomorrow by the youngsters of UKM Green Lung Society. MUSIC FIESTA

SSTwo Mall is holding a Music Fiesta in conjunction with Earth Hour tomorrow. It will be held at Courtyard, SSTwo Mall, Petaling Jaya from 8pm onwards. NIGHT CYCLING

COLOURING CONTEST

The Shah Alam City Council (MBSA) is holding a colouring contest at Dataran Shah Alam from 8pm tomorrow. The theme is Berbakti Kepada Bumi, with three categories for children aged between four and 12. There will be cash prizes. STARGAZING

Join a stargazing event organised by the National Planetarium at 8pm tomorrow. Planets Mars and Jupiter can also be observed during the event. LONGEST CANDLELIGHT DINNER

Participate in the longest candlelight dinner tomorrow at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara from 7pm to 10.30pm along the Food & Beverage stretch at the Street. Adding to the atmosphere are specially-designed art installations made from recycled materials which are placed strategically throughout the mall to raise awareness on the importance of environmental conservation.
