JOHOR BARU: Food traders were left devastated and in tears after a local council demolished their stalls which they have been operating without a valid permit in Taman Desa Mutiara here.

Banana fritters seller Rosli Ismail, 52, was seen sobbing as he looked at the wreckage after his stall that he had been operating for the past four years was destroyed.
