Much tribute and recognition were rendered to former Governor of Malacca Tun Abdul Malek Yusuf, former Malacca chief minister and deputy prime minister Tun Abdul Ghafar Baba and former Malacca municipal commissioner Datuk Tan Cheng Swee, all fondly described as principal founding pioneers, architects, planners as well club ranking officials, towards making the establishment and course a reality.
