THE opening of the Penang-CIMB 29th Women’s World Squash Championship is set to be a grand affair when it kicks off at 6.30pm today at the Subterranean Penang International Convention and Exhibition Centre (sPICE) in Relau.
Some 3,400 participants from different nationalities will take part in the ‘Torch Run & Bike’ race where they will pass the torch throughout the event, much like the actual Olympics torch relay.
