DOE appeals to public for help to stamp out open burning


KLANG Valley folks are struggling to breathe amidst the increasingly unhealthy air caused by trans-boundary haze, open burning and agricultural land burning in several areas.

While Klang’s air pollutant index reached hazardous conditions at noon yesterday at 315, places like Puchong, Petaling Jaya and Shah Alam are not far behind.
