BE the first 100 blood donors at the blood donation campaign in Penang Times Square to receive a mug with your mugshot imprinted on it.

Ivorycares president Datuk Ooi Chin Loo (pic) said the blood donation themed ‘A drop of blood forms an ocean of love’, would be held from 10am to 5pm on March 22 on the fourth floor of the shopping mall.

“The first 200 blood donors will also receive a goodie bag each worth RM35.

“The north-east district health office will be offering free basic health checks at the 1Malaysia Clinic on Level Three.

“Besides that, Penang Hospital will also be registering organ donors on the same day,” he told a press conference at the Penang Times Square yesterday.

The event is jointly organised by Ivorycares, a charitable arm of Ivory Properties Group Berhad, Penang Times Square and Engtek Group.

Engtek Group is jointly organising the blood donation campaign in conjunction with its 40th anniversary celebration.

Ivory Properties Bhd corporate communications manager Ann Tan said Penang Hospital would be preparing 12 beds for the campaign.

“The campaign is to replenish the blood bank at the Penang Hospital,” she added.
