UNIVERSITI Sains Malaysia (USM) is on stand-by and continues to support the Fire and Rescue Department’s efforts to battle the bush fires in Bukit Gambir, Penang.
According to USM vice-chancellor Prof Datuk Dr Omar Osman, the bush fires broke out on Sunday in two separate spots of about 1.2ha within its 80ha recreational park.
