Teen with Malaysian birth certificate fails to get a MyKad

STUDENT Nalvin Dhillon is in a dilemma as the National Registration Department (NRD) has registered him as a non-citizen, and refuse to issue him with a MyKad.

Nalvin, 17, born to a Malaysian father and a Filipina mother at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Klang in 1997, had obtained a passport and birth certificate prior to his predicament.
