KUCHING: The move to increase air connectivity between Malaysia and the Philippines is highly justified, if the double-digit growth in tourist arrivals at the archipelago is anything to go by.

Last year, visitors from Malaysia to the Philippines grew by 27%, which is probably the strongest recorded by any of its South East Asian neighbours.
