KUCHING: The state government is giving priority to build the proposed Baleh hydroeletricity dam over the controversial Baram project as the former would not involve any relocation of villages.
Land Development Minister Tan Sri Dr James Masing said with no resettlement of any Baleh folk, there would not be any social problem and thus, this would better facilitate the implementation of the project.
