NEWLYWEDS S. Durganandan and P. Kalesweri attended a cooking class organised by the youth wing of the Penang Hindu Association (PHA) with the hope of learning to cook and save on food expenses.

Cargo company executive Durganadan, 32, said they spent more than RM20 a day by eating out and this was affecting their monthly budget, adding that his wife was still looking for work.
