Nine vessels detained for anchoring in Pengerang waters


KOTA TINGGI: The Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) has successfully detained nine vessels, believed to have illegally anchored off Pengerang waters here during a special operation.

Its Tanjung Sedili district Maritime head Captain Amran Daud said that enforcement officers in two ships and two interceptor boats conducted checks around the Pengerang waters and detained the ships on Feb 24.
