JOHOR BARU: Home entertainment system is becoming popular among Malaysians as prices of the audio and visual (A&V) products are more affordable in recent years.

The trend will definitely push up demand and sales of A&V products in the country especially among the middle-class income group earners and professionals due to their strong purchasing power.

On that note, Panasonic Malaysia Sdn Bhd, one of the exhibitors at Perfect Livin’ 14, is showcasing its home entertainment collection at the home and lifestyle exhibition.

Its Johor Baru branch manager Lim Chia Liang said that visitors to the event would be amazed to see how the A&V technology had advanced over the years.

“Watching TV is no longer the same as it used to be and you will be surprised that today’s television is becoming more multi-functional,” Lim said.

He said the company’s wide range of A&V products would bring a whole new meaning to the family home entertainment and help to foster family bonding.

He said Panasonic’s Viera brought smart operation to its versatile TV functions such as “My Home Screen” which provided instant access to one’s favourite content on a personalised TV screen.

Lim said the “Voice Interaction” allowed audience to control the TV and “Swipe and Share 2.0” made it easy to link the TV with a smartphone or tablet and share photos, videos, and web pages with family and friends.

“The new viewing and operating styles make your TV entertainment even more comfortable and lots more fun in your own living room,” he said.

Lim said apart from the A&V products, visitors could also check out on the company’ home appliances products such as refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, fans and water purifiers at the event.
