Symposium to honour the work of Penang-born Dr Wu Lien-Teh

IN REMEMBRANCE of Penang-born plague fighter Dr Wu Lien-Teh (1879-1960), a three-day symposium will be held in Penang from March 8 to 10.

Dr Wu Lien-Teh Society chairman Datuk Dr Anwar Fazal said March 10 was Dr Wu’s birthday and the event would be held annually starting this year.
