HUNDREDS of Super Coffee customers enjoyed a night of entertainment by four local artistes at Sunshine Square Bayan Baru in Penang, in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
The ‘Super Chinese New Year Concert’ was part of the company’s programme to reward customers for their loyalty.
The Super brand also produces cereal, soya milk and instant milk, besides coffee.
The concert, jointly organised by Super and Sunshine Wholesale Mart Sdn Bhd, kicked off with singer Catherine Soon, who is a Penangite, rendering six festive songs in Chinese and English.
Her performance was followed by Vic WenBin, who plucked at the crowd’s heartstrings with three melodious songs.
The third performer was 10-year-old child star Crystal Lee, who delivered three songs and charmed the crowd with her talent and voice while the fourth singer was Chng Shyue Chung, who entertained the crowd with several oldies and festive songs.
Super managing director Lim Kim Huat said in a statement that with a yearly production of 7.5 billion cups of coffee, Super is committed to further improve itself.
Some lucky winners also returned home with a mini iPad, LED TV, angpow and Super Prosperous Pack worth RM30.
The first prize winner who only wished to be known only as Madam Goh, 86, bagged the mini iPad.
“It is very fortunate that I attended the concert, since I not only enjoyed myself but I won a prize as well,” she said after the lucky draw presentation recently.
A similar concert was also held at Genting Highlands, Johor Baru, Batu Pahat.
