Port gets gantry cranes worth RM11mil to improve its services

KOTA KINABALU: Container operations at Sabah’s bustling Sapangar Bay Container Port (SBCP) are now moving at a more brisk pace with the commissioning of two additional rubber tyred gantry (RTG) cranes.

Sabah Ports Sdn Bhd (SPSB) chief operating officer Mohd Sahid Nawab Khan said the cranes costing RM11mil were in addition to the three existing RTGs at the state’s busiest port.
