Red FM supports Back To School initiative

RED FM is supporting a Back To School Initiative to help 979 primary school pupils who were affected by the recent floods in Kuantan, Pahang.

The pupils whose parents earn below RM750 a month, need school uniforms, bags, shoes and reference books.

The project was initiated by Mahadza Kamal Jais after witnessing the natural disaster.

He is working with the Kuantan district education office to help the pupils.

“Red FM is proud to be part of this meaningful project that gives these children the opportunity to start 2014 with hope and love.

“It is a gesture to show that there are many folk out there that care for them.” said Papi Zak from Red FM’s Really Really Late Breakfast Show.

“We would like to thank listeners who have donated. We sincerely hope to do our very best to help the families.” said JJ, the breakfast crew announcer.

The initiative will be held until Jan 30.
