KUCHING: Traders and customers of Medan Niaga Satok and Kubah Ria will see more infrastructure and facilities being developed as the upgrading plan for both areas is starting.
Housing and Tourism Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Open said RM13.5mil had been approved by the Federal Government for the upgrading works, which would include the building of a connecting roofed walkway between Medan Niaga Satok and Kubah Ria, a multi-storey carpark, which could accommodate about 200 cars, and improvements to the traffic flow of the area to tackle congestion issues.
