KUCHING: The two city councils of Kuching, each representing north and south, and with distinct identities, will build a new park, says Chief Minister Tan Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud.

“I’ve told the mayor from the south: ‘You better go and talk to the Datuk Bandar from the north. Find a piece of land and create a park’,” he said at the launch of Kuching City North Commission’s (DBKU) Agenda 2014 yesterday.
