Families of boat tragedy victims to get RM3,000 each

KUCHING: Families of the Batang Lassa boat tragedy victims will receive RM3,000 each from the Federal Government.

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim said the survivors of the accident would also receive assistance, the quantum of which he would discuss with the state government.
