New luxury boutique hotel’s rustic theme charms guests

WHEN the owner of a row of shophouses in Ipoh approached Ariva Hotels and Serviced Apartments with plans to turn his property into a hotel, the company was slightly taken aback.

The owner had asked that the hotel be designed in a way that would remind people of the “old days”, a request that had not been tested in the Ipoh market before.
