Beauty contest celebrates the refinement of Punjabi heritage

A unique beauty pageant focussing on creating awareness and reigniting interest in the rich Punjabi heritage among the younger generation of the community made the Miss Punjaban Finals 2013 an eagerly anticipated contest.

Officiated by Women, Family and Community Ministry deputy secretary-general Datuk Harjeet Singh, the beauty pageant was open to all Malaysian Punjabis between the ages of 17 and 27 years.
