One of the largest townships in Kuala Lumpur, Wangsa Maju and its surrounding areas are going through a transformation as developers are rushing to cash in on the previously untapped market.
Within the roughly 10km radius of Wangsa Maju, residents saw rapid urbanisation in the mid-1980s as part of Greater Kuala Lumpur’s development programme. The nearby areas of Bandar Tun Razak and Bandar Tasik Selatan also saw development under the programme.
