KUCHING: The Welfare Department has made preparations to assist victims in the event of further flooding until the middle of next month.
According to Welfare, Women and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah, the department had been briefed by the State Disaster Management Committee to be on standby for more rain and possible flooding until Chap Goh Mei, which falls on Feb 14.
