KUCHING: The state Welfare Department is not letting its guard down as there is a likelihood of subsequent heavy rain and flooding to happen at any time.

Women, Welfare and Family Development Minister Datuk Fatimah Abdullah said preparations had been set since last year before the landas (monsoon) season.
