THOUSANDS flocked to Penang Times Square in George Town, Penang, to try and win lucky prizes during The Star ‘Holiday Gift-Away’ programme which offered about 3,000 attractive prizes worth RM70,000 in total.
During the campaign from 10am to 3pm, prizes such as hotel stays, F&B and buffet vouchers, theme park passes, free pizza vouchers and goodie bags were given away through a lucky dip for eligible readers, who produced the newspaper masthead dated Dec 28 and Dec 29.
